TMK was asked by Cognitive Advisors to work with their team to create an 'E-Learning' program to help launch their new half billion Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, opening in March 2018. TMK produced a myriad of video programs relating to safety orientations, new medical protocols and the general introduction of the hospital itself to the community. Additional videos supported the orientation of physicians, staff, and patients as they transition to the new campus of this world class hospital.
Collaborating with the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center, TMK is completing their newest broadcast documentary Too Soon to Forget: The Journey of Younger Onset Alzheimer's Disease. This program gives a voice to individuals and their families living with younger onset Alzheimer's disease, for those diagnosed at age 65 or younger. Too Soon to Forget highlights the stories of nine families who are facing the unique challenges that younger onset presents, and explores the hardships of shifting relationships, preserving faith, utilizing community, and maintaining dignity while living with this devastating disease. The United Kingdom is hosting the G8 Dementia Summit on December 11th and we're honored that TMK footage will be part of it. Working once again with the Rush University 'Without Warning' team, TMK supplied a producer from AP with footage from our library to help communicate their news story addressing 'Early Onset' Alzheimer's.
The National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia asked TMK to film interviews with some of Chicago's most prominent citizens for a new exhibit. Among those that shared their stories and fascinating connections to Chicago were Lester Crown, Newton and Jo Minow (former chairman of the FCC and PBS) and Carole and Gordon Segal (the founders of Crate & Barrel).
We're off to film in England and Canada as TMK is on the final leg of production to complete its broadcast documentary Journey to a Miracle: Freedom from Insulin. This 60 minute PBS program captures a story that has taken almost three decades to write. It highlights the historic journey of an international team of doctors and scientists, after years of collaborative research, announced a medical discovery that today is changing the lives of children and adults around the world.
For a second year the University of Chicago Medicine's Kolver Diabetes Center hosted their Monogenic Diabetes Family Forum. With two film crews in place, TMK covered the event which hosted close to one hundred families, doctors and scientists from across the globe as they celebrated 'Miracles & Milestones' relating to this amazing discovery in diabetes treatment.
In collaboration with the Rush University Medical Center, TMK was asked to produce a series of videos for their 'Without Warning' Early Onset Alzheimer's Community Outreach Program. Both the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the American Library Association (ALA) have nominated The Heart of the Matter, a one-hour documentary on congenital heart disease, for distinguished awards. Currently airing on PBS stations across the country, the program has been nominated for an Emmy for best documentary addressing topical issues and the ALA has nominated it under the 'Notable Video-- Documentary/Educational' award category.
The National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter, contracted TMK to produce their marketing and fund raising video initiative. Interviewing MS patients and their families, TMK weaved together their emotional and inspirational stories to create a video that reaches out for your support toward finding a cure.
WTTW-Chicago premiered TMK's The Heart of the Matter, an informative documentary addressing the world's number one birth defect: Congenital Heart Disease. Hosted by Chris O'Donnell, the documentary is now being broadcast in close to 400 PBS markets across the United States.

Thresholds, Illinois' leading mental health organization, hosted a 'Veteran's Symposium' at the Pritzker Military Library in Chicago. TMK is proud to have a twenty year plus relationship producing videos for Thresholds myriad of programs and services. TMK wrote and produced the video presentation profiling the innovative work that Thresholds is now doing with veterans from across the state.

TMK was contracted by Friends of the Parks to produce a community outreach video to support their largest initiative in their foundations' history. The Last Four Miles: A Legacy to Complete, addresses the importance of completing Chicago's 30 mile shoreline. The video, hosted by Bill Kurtis, premiered at the historic Cliff Dweller's Club.
Keshet's Buddy Baseball, now in it's 6th year, played its All Star game at US Cellular Field. More than 100 volunteers made it a memorable day for the Keshet children, their families and friends, TMK captured all the excitement.
